Synopsis:
I have an large collection of cookery books from all over the world. I have been collecting these books for some 50 years. If there was a sudden earthquake (which there is sometimes in New Zealand) this would be the one book I would grab, as I departed in a hurry. The book has such a good, comprehensive selection of recipes with excellent instructions, ingredients that are easily available, with illustrations that are useful. The Mowbray Pie recipe makes the best Mowbray Pie I have ever tasted, plus the quince jelly recipe with lemons is absolutely delicious.
