I read seven other books about weight loss surgery before I discovered this one. If I had found this first I wouldn't have needed any of the others. This book is uplifting and packed with information and tips that I didn't find anywhere else. The fact that it is in a journal format made me feel as if the author was talking to me personally. I am going to be reading this book over and over. I am still Pre-Op but now I know how to prepare and once I am on my way I can refer back to this for the rest of the journey.
