This book is a comprehensive examination of the psychology and motives of the violent opposition directed at the final messenger of God, Prophet Muhammad (p). The history and analysis unfold in the context of a short sura of the Quran that exposes and condemns two of the staunchest adversaries of the Prophet - Abu Lahab and his wife. The themes elicited however, go well beyond these individuals, their issues, their era, and highlight the undying struggle for free worship and expression, and argue for the abiding relevance of divine revelation and the importance and limits of the family.
