About this Item

A rare set of Faulkner's 12mo Dublin Editions, in very good contemporary speckled calf. Vols 1-4 and Vol 8 Second Editions. Vols 5-7 and 9-13, First Editions. The Thirteen volumes are all bound in full speckled calf contemporary to the time of publication. Some cracking to the joints, especially on Vol 13. Some minor worming in three volumes, usually to the inner boards, not affecting the text . Some stains and minor tears. A few endpapers partially torn, Volumes 1, 3 and 4 with some splaying. Overall the pages white and crisp in fine condition. The plates all strong impressions. The set generally complete with some minor exceptions. The volumes measure 17 x 10.8 x 3 cm. Each leaf measures 165 x 100 mm. Series Title for the first Four Volumes: The Works of J.S, D.D, D.S.P.D. in Four Volumes. Containing, I. The Author's Miscellanies in Prose. II.
