Covers have wear to the edges and corners. Covers have surface loss to the rear lower outer corner, light soil, and a darkened spine. Front inner hinge is partially split, both inner hinges are very weak. Damp staining to upper outer corners of last few plates. Private book plate with owner's crest on the front cover (browned) and on the front endpaper. Title page has a strip of paper residue from the facing page (goes through "Illustrated" in the title) , a tear to the outer edge, darkened edges, and written owner's information. ; Plates only, no text.
