My Favorite Mistake WEARS BLACK: He was the mistake I never wanted to fix.

Everyone at Westbridge High knows the rules: Stay in your lane, mind your business, and never—ever—get involved with the boy who wears black.

Kael Voss is a ghost in the hallways. He’s the boy with the jagged scars, the criminal record, and a silence so heavy it suffocates anyone who gets too close. The rumors say he’s a monster. The teachers say he’s a lost cause.

I should have listened.

As the Principal’s daughter and the school’s golden girl, my future is already paved in ivy and gold. But when a cruel prank threatens to shatter my perfect reputation, it isn't the "heroes" of Westbridge who step up to save me. It’s Kael.

He’s not kind. He’s not gentle. And he’s definitely not a saint. He’s a beautiful ruin who takes the fall for my mistakes and asks for nothing in return.

Now, I’m following him into the shadows, peeling back the layers of a dark family secret that could destroy us both. Falling for Kael Voss is the most dangerous decision I’ve ever made. He’s the villain in everyone else's story, and he’s convinced he’ll only ruin me, too.

He might be the worst mistake of my life. But he’s my favorite one.

“My Favorite Mistake Wears Black” is a high-tension, standalone Young Adult / New Adult crossover romance. It features a brooding protector, a slow-burn "us against the world" romance, and a gritty mystery that will keep you turning pages until the very end.
