From the many summer vacations spent at the New Jersey shore, Imre Vitez learned to appreciate sandy beaches and the haven that time at the beach can provide. When he was a child, his family spent a good portion of their summers at the shore wave jumping, making sand castles and having cook-outs. His interests in writing and photography are brought together in Our Favorite Time of the Year He has written this book with his wife, Sandy, and three children, Kaitlyn, Zachary and Samuel, who also appreciate summer time at the shore.
