The Fear of Life And the Life Within Fear

Miriam sat beside her mother and held her hand.
“Don’t go, Mom. Please... please don’t leave me alone. I don’t have anyone else.”
In that moment, she needed her mother more than ever. She wanted to climb into bed and rest her head in her mother’s lap, maybe for the last time. She felt the urge to cry out loud, to let the pain escape. But more than anything, she longed for a comforting hand on her back while she cried.
Where was that hand now? It felt irrational, even selfish, to wish for comfort from someone who was dying. Yet that’s what she wanted — one last moment of reassurance to help her face the loss.
Then something happened.
Her mother gently squeezed her finger, opened her eyes for a second, looked straight into Miriam’s, and closed them again. She fell asleep peacefully and didn’t wake up.
Miriam smiled as tears of both sorrow and gratitude streamed down her face.

In warm, accessible language, Dr. Ali Badarni invites readers into the world of hypnosis and its powerful role in healing. This book weaves science and storytelling, sharing the moving experiences of people who found their way back to life through hypnotherapy.

You’ll meet eight individuals whose stories feel deeply familiar. Each one could be any of us. Through their journeys, Dr. Badarni also faced his own fears and helped heal emotional wounds that had remained open for years.

These stories offer more than insight. They provide a mirror, allowing readers to recognize their own struggles and explore meaningful ways to heal.
