For fourteen years he served as pastor of Ridgeway Community Church of the Brethren in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The author of four books in addition to the present volume, he has contributed articles to over fifty religious periodicals across a wide denominational spectrum. He and his wife Ann and daughter Katie continue to live in Harrisburg, where he is presently a freelance writer and a consultant for parish ministries.
