About the Author
A long-time fan of comic books, Mike Federali decided to create his own comics. He placed an ad on DeviantArt in search of an artist for his stories. It was there that Os Petroli, an aspiring artist living in Argentina, answered the request. Federali working from Virginia in the USA, and Petroli working from Santa Fe, Argentina decided to put out The Skyrocket through an independent comic book publisher.
Federali has also been approved for an iTunes podcast and is a talented musician. Federali still frequents comic book stores around Virginia Beach and keeps it real with fans and other comic book aficionados.
Bob Frantz is a Ringo-nominated writer/silly person living in Cincinnati, Ohio by way of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is the Co-founder of Loophole Comics, an independent comic imprint that proudly features the works of indie comics' best and brightest creators. When Bob isn’t writing comics such as Metalshark Bro or The Dust Pirates, he is cleaning a variety of messes made by his wonderful wife and two beautiful children.
Tracy Yardley has been greatly interested in comics for most of his life, as well as the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. He grew up reading the earliest issues of Archie Comics' officially licensed Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series. He professionally spells his name with an "!" at the end as a tribute to Scott Shaw, who also spelled his name the same way. Scott Shaw was one of the first artists who worked on Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Yardley worked mainly as a penciler on Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog series from 2005 until Sega of America's termination of Archie Comics' license in 2017. Yardley also occasionally worked on the spin-off comic Sonic X, and served as the main artist for the side-series Sonic Universe. After IDW Publishing picked up the Sonic the Hedgehog license, the company confirmed Yardley as one of the pencilers for their own Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series, which starts circulation in April 2018.
He and Ian Flynn collaborated closely on the Sonic the Hedgehog series during the Archie Comics years, sometimes himself writing the script for the series. He has even inked and occasionally colored a few issues. The collaboration will continue for IDW Publishing's series.
