About the Author

Diane Elam has been on the faculties at Cardiff, McGill, Bryn Mawr, and Indiana University, and is author of Feminism and Deconstruction and Romancing the Postmodern. Robyn Wiegman is Professor of Literature and Women's Studies at Duke University.  Her books include American Anatomies: Theorizing Race and Gender, Object Lessons, and the edited collections AIDS and the National Body, Women's Studies on its Own, The Futures of American Studies, and Who Can Speak: Identity and Critical Authority.
