The Feminism and Visual Culture Reader (In Sight: Visual Culture)

Bringing together key writings on art, film, architecture, popular culture, new media and other visual fields, this key reader combines classic texts by leading feminist thinkers with six previously unpublished polemical new pieces. Amelia Jones is Professor of Art History at the University of California, Riverside. She has organised exhibitions including Sexual Politics: Judy Chicago's Dinner Party in Feminist Art History at the UCLA/Armand Hammer Art Museum (1996), and her publications include the co-edited anthology Performing the Body/Performing the Text (1999), Body Art/Performing the Subject (1998), and Postmodernism and the En-Gendering of Marcel Duchamp (1994).
