About the Author
Carol M. Olmstead is a Feng Shui Master Practitioner, author, and speaker specializing in practical, contemporary applications of Feng Shui for homes, offices, and businesses. She practices a contemporary version of Feng Shui that honors the essence of its 5,000-year-old Chinese heritage but focuses on the practical applications for our culture today. Carol first learned about Feng Shui 15 years ago when she was a marketing communications consultant. She rearranged the furniture in her office and two weeks later signed a contract to consult for a week in Hawaii which extended into a second week after she got there. After extensive study with the Feng Shui Institute of America, Carol became a Certified Feng Shui Practitioner. She was also awarded Red Ribbon Professional status from the International Feng Shui Guild. Carol has been featured in such publications as Cosmopolitan, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, Prevention Books, Telecommuting for Dummies, and home decorating websites. She is a frequent guest on TV and broadcast and Internet radio.
