About this Item

One of the perfect facimiles of famous mystery first editions from Otto Penzler and the First Edition Library. A rare copy in slipcase- most of Otto's books were issued without one. Fer-de-Lance was the first Nero Wolfe detective novel. The book has a bit of fading at head and heel of spine and of the red topstain, otherwise fine. The dust jacket has a little wear at head of spine, otherwise fine. First Edition Library Facsimiles had the same weight, size, typeface, art, dust jacket, finish and texture as the originals. Even mistakes (all first edition points are present) were duplicated. The publisher's information card from First Edition Library is valued by collectors, and this book has it.
