Fergy's stories are not entirely factual, but they are meant to be entertaining and instructive, with a moral or lesson to be learned from each tale. The book is illustrated with black and white drawings by artist Albert T. Reid, which add to the charm of the stories. The stories in Fergy The Guide cover a variety of topics, including hunting, fishing, camping, and wildlife conservation. Some of the animals featured in the book include bears, wolves, moose, deer, and fish such as trout and salmon. Fergy's tall tales are sure to delight readers of all ages, and the book provides a unique glimpse into the attitudes and beliefs about nature and wildlife in the early 20th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
