1868 - 1870 8 volumes 479 colour plates and numerous black and-white text illustrations. Ownership signature dated 1871 to front end papers. Some spotting to the tissue guards not affecting the plates frontis of volume 5 some foxing otherwise all the plates clean, the contents clean and tight. Publishers blind stamped cloth centre fern vignette in gilt to upper covers. light rubbing to head and tail of the spines of some volumes. The bindings clean and tight with no splits.
