About this title

Synopsis

For the Fernweh Project, an international group of European and North American curators and artists traveled together throughout the Scottish Highlands, visiting art venues in towns and villages that investigated the relationship between people and place, hospitality as collaboration, and bridging distances through experimental urban-rural dialogues. Through insightful texts and roadside photography, this publication also documents the group's illuminating final symposium. Fernweh presents an important collection of mindful essays on social practice.
