About the Author
Donna Minkowitz is a writer whose work has appeared in Ms., New York magazine, New York Newsday, The Advocate, Out, and The Nation. As a reporter and columnist for The Village Voice from 1987 to 1995, she reported on gay and lesbian culture. She has won awards from the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association, Radcliffe, and GLAD. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
