About the Author

Heather Thomas began quilting over 25 years ago, taking a turn toward art quilting in 2000. She has been teaching her designs and techniques for over 15 years. Her 13-month color and design class was the foundation for A Fiber Artist Guide to Color & Design. Creating art is Heather's driving force, her reason for being here, her love and her passion. It is her hope to inspire her students to creative freedom and help them discover their possibilities. Heather Thomas is a co-author of Fabric Embellishing The basics & beyond.
