Fiddler Ferns

Tranh grew up in the Vietnamese highlands with a promise to his American father: one day, he would climb Mount Greylock. After his father’s death, that promise carries him and his mother to a small Massachusetts town—and to the family neither of them has met.
For Bill Hobbs, Tranh’s arrival raises questions about the father he thought he knew. For Tranh, belonging to this new family may prove more difficult than finding it. As the two brothers try to understand each other, the mountain waits beyond the town.
Fiddle Ferns is a story of inheritance, home and the distance people must cross to become family.
