About the Author
Carter McNamara, MBA, PhD, is the author of eight other books, including the "Field Guide to Consulting and Organizational Development" for working with for-profit businesses. He is well-known and appreciated for his straightforward and action-oriented approach to consulting and writing. This Field Guide is the result of his learning gleaned from 25 years of successful consulting, both as an internal and external consultant, to a variety of types of organizations. He has strong experience in real-world leadership and supervision from working his way up the organization from individual contributor to director. The Minnesota Organization Development Network has awarded him "OD Practitioner of the Year." The University of St. Thomas in Minnesota has awarded him the "Business Excellence Award" for his volunteer work to nonprofits across the USA. He is a partner in Authenticity Consulting, LLC.
