This is the first popular book devoted to the fishes of the Galapagos Islands, a province of Ecuador, located some 600 miles out in the Pacific. It is also the first to illustrate these fishes in color. 60 pages including an index. The title page has a small publisher sticker at the bottom outer edge of the page. The half title page has a library stamp at the top with two date stamps a day apart being Mar 29, 2019 and Mar 30, 2019. In addition on this page is a large "detective type" stamp stating "The theft of this book from Theodore H. Blau is being investigated". Work is printed on high quality paper with many color illustrations. A quite serviceable copy, available for immediate shipment, carefully packed.
