About the Author: I have had a life time interest in all living things. I have met many wonderful interesting dedicated people who I now regard as friends and colleges. Travelling over many vast and remote arrears of the Northern Territory (Australia) to photograph the gecko species in there habitat for this publication. It has been a fantastic experience and a wonderful learning curve. I started to write this book and thought it would be both complex and easy and it was although it took two more years then I intended and a budget that is totally blown to pieces. It has now come to fruition. My concerns about conservation have grown over the years and I am dedicated to conservation and will be for the rest of my life not only in Australia but worldwide. Thank you to all the people, Friends backpackers and scientists that accompanied me on this wonderful gurney of gathering the information and finding the species to photograph the species of Geckos for this book.
