Hal H. harrison, a retired newspaperman and lecturer, was the outdoor editor of the PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE for thirteen years, and for more than twenty years he lectured on outdoor adventures using his own color motion pictures. Mr. Harrison's stories and photographs have appeared in hundreds of magazines, newspapers, and books. He is the former president of the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania and the Brooks Bird Club of West Virginia and is a member of the American Ornithologists' Union and the Wilson Ornithological Society.
