Field Ops

The books of The Operator series are thrilling adventures filled with danger, intrigue, and romance. Readers, both men and women, will cheer the heros, curse the villains, and find themselves drawn to characters so real they could be your friends, neighbors, or co-workers. Brew a pot of coffee, once you begin, will not want to put this book down.

Thomas Thrasher, a decorated United States Marine combat veteran turned military contractor, had survived the threats and dangers of war overseas and set up a comfortable, well-organized existence for himself. Thrasher’s life was going exactly the way he planned until the day he received a message for a former lover, desperately begging him for help.

We follow Thrasher’s story from Utah to Nevada to Ohio to Texas and finally to the jungles of South America. Throughout the series the reader is introduced to Tommy’s friends and allies as well as his enemies and foes.

Field Ops is the trilogy of Nicholas Orr’s first three books in The Operator series. This compilation includes The Operator (Book 1), Sin City (Book 2) and Operation Diomedes (Book 3).

Here is what readers have had to say about The Operator Series.

Book 1 5 Stars “Couldn’t Put it Down: Read it in one night. I tried to stop, but could not put it down. Very entertaining read, full of suspense. Clever ending.” Bons on Amazon

Book 2 5 Stars “I thought all sequels were subpar or predictable… With most series I tend to keep reading to “live up” to the first book and am truly never satisfied. With the Operator being a fantastic read Sin City lived up to it if not exceeded it. Even though I do recommend book 1 this book would have been just as good if I hadn’t read the first which in my experience is a rarity. Again fantastic job Mr. Orr, whoever you may be.” Michael Gibson on Amazon

Book 3 5 Stars “Thumbs Up: Another great read from Nicholas Orr, fast paced and action packed as usual. Read them all of you haven't already.” David Bowman on Amazon
