AS NEW softcover, clean text, no remainders, NOT ex-library, slight shelfwear; WE SHIP FAST. 201307106 The book's main purpose is to exploit FEA as a standard tool in academic education. Numerous articles illustrate how to use this convenient technique to solve partial differential equations occurring in various fields of classical physics: in problems concerning gravity, electricity and magnetism, heat conduction, elastic deformation and liquid flow. The work suggests how to use numerical techniques to introduce functions of two variables and to illustrate the concepts of vector calculus for the benefit of beginners.
