About this Item
A scarce report from the committee of the Religious Tract Society on their proceedings. Scarce work. Fifteenth annual report including a summary of the cash account as audited 31st March 1814. The Religious Tract Society was a British evangelical Christian organisation known for publishing popular religious texts throughout the 19th century. Income from the sale of the society's books and periodicals declined throughout the 1890s which they attributed to "general depression in the book trade" though no such depression existed. In the original paper wraps. Externally, smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. The odd mark to the boards. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd spot. Very Good. Seller Inventory # 861T39
