Fighting For

Ivan Gibson is a boxer past his prime and the single father of Gabriella, a teenage daughter he’s barely seen since his divorce many years earlier. His ex-wife’s untimely death suddenly thrusts Gabriella into his care, putting Ivan into a role he has neglected all his life, that of her father.

But his bank account is nearly drained, and he’s training for a twelve-round boxing match with Hoyce Taylor, a rising star in the ring. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime shot at a major cash prize, and a chance to reignite his boxing career. Taylor has never been knocked down before.

Ivan struggles to create a bond with Gabriella while trying to train for the upcoming fight. When things crumble between them, Ivan is forced to face his personal demons and rethink his life.
