A tragic murder, a wrongful conviction, and a search for truth and reconciliation.

In 1979, Dr. Ronald Banks was murdered in New Orleans. Sixteen-year-old Isaac Knapper was wrongly convicted of the crime, his life stolen. Fighting Time tells the dual story of this tragedy, exploring the aftermath for both the Banks and Knapper families.

Amy Banks, daughter of the victim, and Isaac Knapper, the wrongly accused, share their perspectives on the events and their long journey toward understanding and forgiveness. This is a story of injustice, trauma, and the enduring power of the human spirit. Perfect for readers of true crime, biography, and social justice narratives.
