As the Final Curtain Comes Down, I Still Need the Applause: A Semi-Autobiographical Journey to the Life of Theatre

Ron Iannone, in his signature voice, chronicles scenes from his life—scenes that add up to a compelling, vivid, multi-act play of sorts. Fitting, for someone who has dedicated much of his time, energy, and passion to the theatre. From his childhood in upstate New York, to an active career in education and theatre in West Virginia, the author shares key points from his journey that have shaped him along the way. At this point, with full recognition that all shows come to an end eventually, Iannone has the perspective to look back at the performance that has been his life with clarity, honesty, and appreciation for all those who have joined him—both on the stage and off.

After decades of successful teaching, writing, art-making, and theatre-producing, consider this memoir Ron Iannone’s well-deserved curtain call.
