The Mesila Financial Literacy Course is designed to give young people the tools to manage their finances correctly and avoid pitfalls and missteps. Much financial stress and heartache can be avoided with preventative financial education. In consideration of our students' unique needs and sensitivities, Mesila developed a financial literacy course teaching the relevant material through the prism of Torah hashkafah and taking into account the realities and challenges students will face. The course has been taught successfully and has been well received in high schools, seminaries and mesivtas all over the world. The current edition of the financial literacy material comprises a more intensive and demanding college-level treatment of the subject. While addressing all the hashkafic and halachic issues, this curriculum also deepens the students' familiarity with universal financial concepts and how they affect our economic world. The Teacher's Guide provides a clear and concise seven-unit course outline that covers all important points, while leaving the teacher ample room for creativity and innovation in presenting the material.
