Financial Management Handboook

Sound financial management is just as necessary for an organization as it is for a profit-seeking firm. However, many organization executives do not have a background in finance and are not always prepared to handle the program and financial responsibilities of a growing organization. In response to this need, CIPE has organized the development and publishing of a Financial Management Handbook, designed expressly for association executives. The handbook gives detailed descriptions of the many aspects of accounting and how-to design successful strategic plans and budgets. This publication is a necessary manual for anyone seeking to better manage an association regardless of size or location.

The Center for International Private Enterprises mission is to build democracy around the world through the promotion of private enterprise and market-oriented economic reform. Established as an affiliate of the US Chamber of Commerce in 1983, CIPE is principally supported by the National Endowment for Democracy, with additional support from private foundations and the US Agency for International Development.
