Finden’s Illustrations of the Life and Works of Lord Byron. With Original and Selected Information on the Subjects of the Engravings by W. Brockdeon. 1834. 9.25” x 6.75”. 8vo. Hardcover full leather. Overall good, with light scuffing to boards, along with bumping to corners. Light chips and cracks down spine. Some starting and cracking along front hinge. All edges gilt. Light markings. Text block remains bound well. Includes dozens of black-and-white plates throughout, with some instances of wear and creasing to tissue guards. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. VOLUME III ONLY. A scarce and nicely preserved collection of illustrations by British engraver Edward Finden (1791-1857). He was the younger brother of William Finden (1787-1852), who was also a prominent engraver, with many of their works being produced and distributed together.
