~Does your relationship with God feel distant and unfulfilled?
~Are you exhausted by dutifully checking off a spiritual to-do list?
~Do you yearn for a more satisfying and joyful walk with Christ that feels less like hard work?
Along comes a book daring us not to settle for anything less than the Bible promises. Let Shellie Rushing Tomlinson illuminate a path that leads you away from formulaic, duty-bound Christianity toward a deep and wide life spent joyfully surrendered to Jesus.
With her signature Southern warmth and humor and poignant storytelling, Shellie retells familiar Bible stories and recasts them in a grace-filled way that will help you see the life Jesus offers you so freely. Her honest, heartfelt, and often hilarious stories of family life in Louisiana reveal Shellie's own journey from being a rule-following Christian to discovering "the joy of dying to all that trying." In Finding Deep and Wide, Shellie invites you to stop trying to please God, and be beautifully transformed by Him instead.
Ideal for individual and group study, Finding Deep and Wide includes questions for reflection and growth at the end of each chapter.

About the Author
Shellie Rushing Tomlinson and her husband, Phil, live and farm in Lake Providence, Louisiana. They have two children and five grandchildren (with another on the way!) and are presently raising two rambunctious labs with zero manners.
An incurable storyteller and bona fide people lover, Shellie uses her gift of humor to connect instantly and easily with a wide variety of audiences. Shellie is the author of award-winning humor titles with Penguin Group USA, Suck Your Stomach In and Put Some Color On, and Sue Ellen's Girl Ain't Fat, She Just Weighs Heavy! Jeff Foxworthy calls her work "laugh out loud funny."
Kori Robertson of A&E's Duck Dynasty fame endorsed her faith memoir, Heart Wide Open saying it will "fuel your desire for a relationship with God and give you the gentle nudge and the steps to get it."
Shellie's storytelling cookbook Hungry is a Mighty Fine Sauce earned high praise from Robertson family matriarch Kay Robertson, and of her most recent release, Devotions for the Hungry Heart, Orlando Magic Senior Vice President said, "This little book may just change your life, one day at a time."
Shellie is the creator and host of the Belle of All Things Southern website and is presently using her experience in live radio to host the entertaining podcast, All Things Southern.
A Jesus lover in full pursuit of a well-blended life in Christ, this sought-after speaker whose inspired and entertaining messages are encouraging believers to keep seeking and never settle.
