Finding God in the Everyday: 365 Daily Reflections

Evidence of God’s grace is all around us—in a sunny morning, in the company of a pet, in a conversation with a friend. But in our busyness, it’s easy to hurry right past these moments and miss the guidance, hope, and love God offers us. In this book, Janet Evans welcomes you to join her each morning as she reflects on glimpses of God’s goodness. To become like Jesus, she reminds us, we need to spend time with him—and that is just what she does in this book. Drawing from her experiences both in her day-to-day life and in her fight against cancer, Janet points us to Jesus on each page. These brief devotions will help you start each day with what’s really important—God’s love for you.

Janet Evans is married and lives in Dallas, Texas. She has four married children and eight precious grandchildren. Having survived pancreatic cancer at the age of fifty-two, she began to know God in a mighty way as he walked her through this journey. She continues to write, seeing God reveal himself as each day unfolds. Her hope is that those who read these daily reflections are encouraged and equipped to see our Lord as they go about each day, for he is always with us.
