When Jack is paired with his classmate Lily for a school project, he feels a pang of guilt for teasing her in the past, especially when she stumbled while reading aloud. Lily, guided by the wisdom of her Gramma Kate, chooses to forgive Jack, a decision that brings peace to her heart and transforms their relationship.

She imparts valuable lessons on self-esteem, the power of positive affirmations, and the importance of setting goals. With Lily and Gramma Kate's encouragement, Jack sets his sights on a big dream—to try out for the hockey team, just like Lily’s brother Zach.

Through his journey, Jack learns to believe in himself and to value his friendships. Ultimately, he finds the courage to apologize to Lily, opening the door to a new friendship and a stronger sense of self.
