Finding the Missional Path highlights what Christians really want from their church but leaders are afraid to admit. The church today faces the challenge to engage a culture where interest in spirituality is increasing and participation in institutional religion is waning. Every church leader interested in making disciples with a missionary spirit should read this book! Any leader can choose a path; only the spiritual leader can find the right path! Barry Winders is an experienced path finder. He helps leaders to the "inner work" to position the soul to fly to Christ. It's about real depth, true calling, distant vision, dogged learning, and serious accountability. In other words, it's more than a challenge to strategic planning. It is a test of the soul. If you really seek Christ, read this. Tom Bandy, Author and Senior Consultant Easum Bandy Associates Port Aranas, Texas At Integrating Focus we are already adjusting our thinking about the mission and purpose of the Church. After reading this book, you will have motivation, along with a roadmap, that will leave you desperate to replace your next capital campaign with a "human capital" campaign. There should be nothing more valuable to the church than all of God's children. Debbie Rendall, President Integrating Focus Ltd. Inc. Seminole, Florida More than techniques, Dr. Winders offers a spiritual path to congregations and pastors that leads to reclaiming a warm affection for Christ from which to develop ministry that is genuinely gracious, honestly loving, and eminently relevant to a world that has grown sore with cynicism. Finding the Missional Path is his wise and caring message of hope to everyone whose vision is to embody and share the reality of Jesus Christ with integrity and effectiveness. Rev. John H.
