About the Author

C. M. Needham is a baby boomer who graduated from high school just as the Vietnam conflict was gearing up. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and went to basic training in San Diego in June after his May high school graduation in 1965. He went on to serve twenty-five years, active and reserve in the Navy. He graduated from Ottawa University with BA degrees in English and Business in 1980.He and his wife Jean, whom he calls his "magic Jeannie," live in Sugar Creek, MO. Together they have five grown children and four grandchildren.
