Romans 8:28 promises God's children that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Sometimes, though, it doesn't seem to be that way. Sometimes we just have to be patient and wait on God's perfect timing to see the truth of His Word revealed.

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose."

Romans 8:28
