Finding My Wind: Discovering the Power of Being Me

Finding My Wind: Discovering the Power in Being Me is a heart-centered, empowering children’s book that follows Rose, a confident and competitive child with asthma who loves sports and movement. While Rose can climb, run, swim, skate, and play just like everyone else, she sometimes has to pause to breathe and those pauses make others see her as “different.” Through school activities, internal self-talk, faith-based affirmations, and inspiring real-world examples, Rose learns that her strength isn’t diminished by asthma, it’s defined by resilience, self-belief, and purpose. This story blends emotional honesty, age-appropriate health education, and spiritual encouragement to help children embrace their differences, build confidence, and discover the power in being exactly who they are.
