Finish As You Go: Perfectly Easy Borders Volume II

Stop struggling with rippled edges and uneven finishes-discover the secret to flat, perfect quilt borders every time.

In Finish As You Go: Perfectly Easy Borders, 50-year quilting veteran Nancy Rumney shares her revolutionary method for adding professional-quality borders with minimal effort. Whether you are a beginner looking for a simple start or an advanced quilter ready to tackle complex designs, this guide provides a step-by-step roadmap to a flawless finish.

Traditional border methods often lead to frustrating results. This book changes the game by teaching you how to complete the body of your quilt first and then add borders that lay flat and even. You'll learn how to "sandwich" your edges for a clean look, use batting effectively for crisp results, and even create stunning reversible quilts that give you two looks in one.

Inside this volume, you'll discover:

- Three Tailored Techniques: Choose from Single, Multiple, or Pieced border methods based on your skill level and vision.

- The "Sandwich" Secret: A foolproof way to attach borders and backing simultaneously for a custom, framed appearance on both sides.

- Pro Tips for Success: Master Nancy's essential rules-measure carefully, sew precise 1/4-inch seams, and press frequently for a high-end finish.

- Reversible Quilting: Learn how to design quilts with different seasonal or color themes on each side.

- Sizing Solutions: Use these techniques to easily increase the size of any quilt by 14 inches or more.

Don't let uneven borders ruin your hard work. Join Nancy Rumney and learn how to make every quilt a masterpiece that is as beautiful on the back as it is on the front.
