Synopsis
I hope you share my belief in the power and beauty of the written word. I'm convinced that by writing our stories skillfully, with honesty and artistry, we honor our basic human need to connect to one another. Using my experience and acquired knowledge to liberate and develop your innate potential as a writer is my pleasure and duty, my purpose and my passion, my fire in the belly. This book is arranged into 12 independent lessons, best read sequentially. Each lesson is followed by suggested assignments to help you turn up the heat. You have two options to maximize your experience of Fire in the Belly. One: Read the book, absorb what resonates and apply the insights at your discretion. You’ve paid for the book; we’re good. The second option is to enroll in the Interactive Course that supplements the text. This is for those of you determined to become published, sensing it can happen if you up your game.Signing up for the course gets you up to15 hours of one-on-one with an award-winning editor. Complete the assignments that follow each lesson and send them to me for comprehensive review and feedback. Upon graduating from the course, if you have submitted at least eight of the 12 exercises, A Word with You Press will issue you a Certificate of Completion.
