New and revised edition, 1890. Front free endpaper missing. Original cloth heavily rubbed and faded, spine unevenly faded. Stamp of J. Stone, engineers, Deptford on rear endpapers and board. Externally poor. 20pp of adverts at end illustrating fire engines and fire fighting equipment.
