Fires of Destiny (Paperback)

Paperback. Tay Raveen is an object cursed to destroy the world and blessed to save it. Beyond that, no one knows what it is. The only thing that is known is the Malignant God is coming and Tay Raveen will either welcome or destroy him. Arzak Od Leryp is a powerful sorcerer who has been tasked with finding Tay Raveen and using it to save the world. After years of searching, he may have finally found its resting place in a remote valley kingdom. Van and Leassa are two friends who are approaching adulthood and the responsibilities it brings; Van, his uncle's heir, and Leassa a scholars's daughter. In Arzak's arrival to their valley they see a chance for a grand adventure. Perhaps they can even become footnotes in the grand tomes of history. They quickly learn that the search for Tay Raveen is not the adventure they had in mind. There are dark, powerful forces determined to make Tay Raveen their own to serve their purposes and bring about the destruction of the world. The Malignant God has already destroyed thousands of worlds; even if Tay Raveen can be kept for salvation, can it really destroy a being who has never been stopped before?
