Centenarian R. Waldo McBurney is a beekeeper and distance runner from Quinter, Kansas. He began running competitively at the age of 65, and has won five gold medals in international track and field competition. He and his wife, Vernice, live in their home in Quinter. Waldo plays the harmonica, and performed the theme and incidental music for this audio book.
