This offering is a vintage copy of The First Book of Stones written by M. B. Cormack and illustrated with black-and-white illustrations drawn by M. K. Scott. It is NOT an ex-library copy and both the book and the dust jacket are in very good + condition though it DOES have the last name of a previous owner written neatly at the top of the front loose end page. The book is 7 3/8" by 8 3/4" and has 93 pages with an Index, a "Do You Know That" section, and black-and-white illustrations throughout. This is more an adult book than a children's book . . . and would make a nice, helpful gift to yourself, a friend, a later primary student or a middle school student for learning the basics of stones. Both the book and the dust jacket are in great shape! Thank you!
