In Latin and English. Two very fine penciled drawings. One on the second printed page, which has the table of contents and one on the last printed page of the book, see images here. These drawing are not signed. Note the hat style in the second drawing. It looks 19th century. Back board detached. Front board lacking. On the pastedown of the surviving board is a pasted image of the great poet Mirza Safi (here spelled Mirza Shaffy). The folded facsimile leaf between pages 416 and 417 is here. Pages are somewhat soiled and stained. Mirza Shafi Vazeh (1796?1852; Azerbaijani: Mirze Safe Vazeh), also known as the "sage from Ganja", was a classical bilingual poet in Azerbaijani and Persian, who continued the classical traditions of Azerbaijani poetry from the 14th century.
