First In: Cheeky with the Fire Chief

I had a ten-year plan that didn't include losing the fire chief job to a calendar model with a smirk I want to slap and lips I want to kiss.

"If you like hot, action-packed, firefighter romance, look no further. Danika puts you right on the front line in all the best ways."
~Cora Seton, NYT & USA Today bestselling romance author

The fire hall is my sanctuary, the one place I'm not just a woman in a man's world, but a damn good firefighter. I've earned my stripes, and the Chief's helmet was supposed to be mine. Then he showed up—Nick West, a walking, talking, calendar-worthy fantasy who stole my promotion and my breath in one fell swoop.

He thinks his charm and those chiseled abs will win everyone over, but he doesn't know me. I'm not just another conquest. I'm his competition. But every time we're together, the space between us crackles with a different kind of heat. This isn't just a battle for the top spot anymore—it's a fight against an attraction that could burn us both. I've spent my life being the first one in, but with Nick, I'm terrified I'll be the first to fall.
