This book, First Contact with Humans, looks at the ideas of perspective and intent of sentient beings. It is meant to be an entertaining and easy book to read. How would humans be viewed by a totally non-human but sentient being? Could we even be comprehended with our cluttered minds? Do we even know why we think the way we do? What are we?

Gene is a systems analyst by profession and spends his days asking, "How does this work, why does it work this way, what was the objective of the originators, how would it look from different perspectives, and what if? " He extends these questions to the systems in: politics, religion, history, and the human experience inside the human mind. He wants to find out, how real is our reality and how much does it really matter.
