The First Corruption

The ancient guardians were nothing more than legends. Until the world began to break.

For generations, stories of towering Wardens, powerful sigils, and an ancient darkness have been passed down as little more than bedtime tales. The kind meant to frighten children and entertain those willing to listen.

Loran has never had much reason to believe them.

In the quiet village of Two Stone Grove, his days are filled with familiar faces, ordinary responsibilities, and the simple comforts of a life he has always known. But when a terrifying dream leaves him with visions of a burning world and a giant calling for him to awaken, that familiar life begins to unravel.

The animals turn violent, their bodies twisted by something unnatural. The earth blackens. Strange tremors shake the land. And beneath Loran's skin, a mysterious red mark begins to glow.

Something long forgotten is stirring.

Forced beyond the safety of his village, Loran and his companions find themselves caught in a growing nightmare. Ancient ruins hold warnings of a forgotten past, creatures corrupted beyond recognition stalk the wilderness, and the legends once dismissed as children's stories begin to reveal a terrifying truth.

The Wardens were real. The sigils were real.

And whatever they were meant to keep imprisoned is finding its way back into the world.

As the darkness spreads, Loran must learn what the mark on his arm means, why the ancient powers are awakening, and whether the very forces once believed to protect the world can be trusted.

The old stories were warnings. And no one was listening.

The First Corruption begins The Fractured Sigils, a dark epic fantasy series of forgotten magic, ancient guardians, dangerous discoveries, and a world slowly surrendering to corruption.
